I’m grateful for the local mechanic shop squeezing me in for Monday. I got absolutely screwed yesterday when it came to my dealership and what I was told was a “bumper to bumper warranty” turning out to be a crock of shit (on brand for me). I’m pretty sure when those kids did my oil change they ripped my skid plate felt right off the bolts, but me being able to prove that’s going to be impossible so it’s a $120 repair I have to take up the ass.
September of 2024 I bought a basically new car, it’s got less than 22,000 miles on it 13 months later and this dealerships claiming they don’t cover any repairs that aren’t mechanical (and even the mechanical ones it’s debatable if it’s covered). Overall buying this car was a horrific experience and I should have just dropped $2,000 on another piece of shit beater that was falling apart. New cars don’t mean better quality by any means, lesson learned.
I’m grateful that I’ve officially made it 2 weeks without the vape!🥳 I’m still miserable and bitchy but it is getting slightly easier. I will say it’s pretty messed up that the stopping smoking aids cost more than the smoking products themselves, that’s a wild one and a bit of a flaw.
I’m grateful for weekend mornings with my kids, unfortunately my work schedule makes it so that I barely see them during the school week and I really try to soak up as much of the time with them as I can.
Capitalism and this fucked up society is costing us all relationships with our kids and family that just isn’t normal (most of our parents could all afford to work just one job and survive- now a family needs at least 3 incomes to not be on fucking welfare)
