I’m grateful for income. As much as I whine about my job in today’s insane job market I’m beyond lucky I could weasel my way back into a job I was fired from in November. Now is NOT the time to be leaving jobs for the record, I have 20 years of experience in my industry and a resume that used to get me hired on the spot and when I got canned it was damn near impossible to even get a face to face interview, and most of them weren’t actually hiring at all.
I’m grateful that ridiculous duct tape job I did on my car somehow managed to hold driving over 50 miles a day going to work all weekend. Still salty I had to duct tape my $40,000 car when it doesn’t even have 22,000 miles on it but here we are. I’m beyond lucky that the shop was able to fix it for just $58 today though!🥳
I’m grateful that when I went to the GI specialist today I wasn’t gaslit or told that I was fine. Instead he booked a colonoscopy, endoscopy, and another testing kit to check for potential pancreatic insufficiency. I was expecting to be brushed off, to have my concerns actually listened to the first time was rare.
Here’s to hoping I get answers, I’ll take the win that procedures were all able to be scheduled for next week!👌🏻
