I’m grateful for those overpriced nugget furniture sets that were all the craze a few years ago. We ended up with 2 sets of them that are still being used daily for a variety of purposes, I’d say we got our moneys worth out of them. For the record those are NOT suitable as a bed option. If you pass out on them once it’s not the end of the world, but long term those can’t support an adult’s body weight over time in the slightest.
I’m grateful for my time in prison. It sounds weird to say it like that, but it’s true. Until having my kids prison was the happiest I’d ever been in my life, which is pathetic.
I do understand that my take on prison is an extremely privileged one. I’m a white chick who was locked up in one of the richest states in the US- prison time in Massachusetts is a god damn vacation and is nothing like the system in red states and other locations down south. I was at least paid $2 a day and had a cushy/easy job and most certainly wasn’t performing any form of hard labor for that money, but many inmates in the US are working completely unpaid during their sentences. I had access to therapy, psych meds, and health doctors (heck I had better dental care in prison than I’ve ever gotten in society with insurance).

I’m grateful for finding some decent tasting options for protein. I’ve been having a hard time consuming enough meat so to find a drink that has a good chunk of protein in it is a win. These ones are dairy free and gluten free as well!
What are you grateful for today?🤔
