I’m grateful that I can pay my rent today. There were many times in the past that we truly were not able to do so (hence that’s how we ended up living in 16 places in our years together😬). We are coming up on 5 years in our current spot and it’s nice to not have to panic about finding another one.

I’m grateful for how quiet the city we live in actually is. Boston even in the middle of the night would constantly be making some form of loud noises, but the city we relocated to most definitely has this period of like 3-5 hours where everything is just totally shut down and silent.

I’m grateful that I got those 4 days off from working in the restaurant. I really needed it and I don’t feel like when I go back tonight that ice needs to be dumped in the fryer oil. I had definitely gotten a serious case of the F it’s and was starting to lose it, whoops 😬
