I’m grateful that my ER trip last night wasn’t another 14 hour adventure and I managed to get in and out within 1.5 hours for my horribly infected tooth. It sucked having to leave work early but the pain was so bad I was starting to worry the infection was spreading and going to kill me (I refuse to die on the dining room floor at my work dressed like a fucking sailor).

I’m grateful that the copays for medication with the new insurance haven’t been outrageous, that had been a concern of mine as I’ve been overcharged in the past for medications just because of the insurance company I had at the time. The for profit system we have in the US is absolutely evil for the record.

I’m grateful my kids let me sleep in this morning, I desperately needed it!
