I can’t really force a gratitude list today. I’m still in shock and reeling from my husband losing his job this weekend- I was a fool and truly didn’t have this on the list of things that would potentially happen.

By some fucking miracle the heat was semi working at my work last night and we actually had business. I was serving for a coworker and covering a shift so I lucked out that for the one shift I covered it produced more tips than my entire paycheck was last week. I had to practice self control and not stop at Dunks on my way into work and Taco Bell on my way home but in all actuality I have no business eating that shit anyways. I was able to weasel an additional shift today, I just keep telling myself this shit is going to work itself out. Do I believe that? I’m not entirely sure but it’s the best option I have.

Another tidbit about my business failures that I finally had a win with- my god damn emo prints. Years ago I bought a bundle of emo style designs for shirts. I pushed those HARD, I couldn’t sell them for the fucking life of me- even giving them away at $12 a tee. After years of never being able to sell a single one of them I was FINALLY able to sell one yesterday!
