I’ve been a smoker for far longer than I care to admit. Preteen and adolescence stealing cigarettes was a regular occurrence but by my teenage years it was a full blown thing.
My failure was the vapes. Cigarettes I could quit, I ended up going back because I was an idiot but when it comes to these plastic prison sticks it’s the sugar content and the convenience of them that’s so dangerous. The longest I lasted off vapes was 27 days and I got so fat from baking batches of cupcakes and cookies daily it was horrifying😭
I’m 37 years old and have higher cholesterol and glucose than I should being as active as I am. I’m in a GI crisis and struggling to get an accurate diagnosis and vaping sure as fuck isn’t helping my GI tract (or my chronic asthma for that matter🫣)
My excuse I used just yesterday was “I’ll quit when I’m totally stable”- but it’s been 37 years and life keeps shitting on me so that excuse is starting to sound like when I was using and said I needed fentanyl to function😬
Things aren’t going to become better if I’m pumping myself full of nicotine that lord knows what else is in those juices we suck on 24/7
I’m ripping the bandaid and just starting the patches tomorrow, hopefully that helps the symptoms.
What helped you quit vaping if you were able to?👀
