A year ago today I had my criminal record sealed, and absolutely nothing has changed.

Turns out sealing your record isn’t some magical key to opening any doors, and in most cases it’s pretty useless except bragging rights.

Expunging of your record is the golden ticket, but all I’ve noticed with record sealing is the flaws.

Let me preface this by saying my felony charges are all armed robberies (I was a moron who drove a get away car in a joint venture state), but I found it absolutely INSANE that when I sealed my record it clearly states I can’t work in Massachusetts schools/hospitals/healthcare but I am able to drive 20 mins up the road to New Hampshire or another state and get a job in their school system???

First off I don’t want to work with children (bless yall that do, I’m not strong enough mentally for that one in the slightest) but that made me freaked the fuck out that I could mosey on up a state and with six felony convictions hiding behind a mini wall I could go work with freaking kids. If I can do that I’m sure that applies to those freaks with sex offenses🤢

Amerikkka’s support of those heinous crimes is one that no one seems to ever want to address though (including our child marriage crisis) so I’d figure I’d just remind people- the kids deserve a fuck of a lot better than what we have going on here.
