I’m grateful they finally fixed the heat at my work!🥳 For reference- Massachusetts is pretty fucking cold right now and at night it has been down under 40°F. Now imagine an entire restaurant full of elderly people with thin ass skin dining in there. The complaints about the lack of heat had been bountiful. I was wearing multiple layers, my own sweater and even jacking the communal sweater to bundle up extra. (One thing no one ever shares is that when you’re too skinny you freeze from lack of fucking insulation on your bones- it’s torture)
I’m grateful for being able to say no. That’s been a big problem of mine with people pleasing over the years and is still one I work on daily (it’s especially pathetic that I spent years looking for validation and approval from total losers, oops).
I’m grateful for Pandora, it’s been a godsend when it comes to background music for the kids on the TV and has totally replaced my car radio (I won’t lie, these smart cars I probably couldn’t figure out the radio even if I wanted to- I can barely figure out how to control the fucking heat/AC properly in that thing😬😂)
✨The duct tape on my car shockingly DID hold on the highway commute home last night, it did not hold on the way down though. God this is pathetic to admit I’m paying $40,000 for a car I’m holding together with fucking duct tape at the moment but I have to start normalizing this ridiculous stuff and I know women get robbed daily from dealerships so I’m being honest about my experience.
They NEVER should have let me drive this car off the lot with $0 down, no proof of income, and zero form of actual credit history besides an ancient batch of student loans and some super light credit card debt. I was desperate and they took perfect advantage. You live and learn, hopefully someone can learn from my gigantic array of failures🤞🏻
